U Square @ the Loop

Covering two blocks between Calhoun and McMillan streets, across from the University of Cincinnati’s uptown campus, is U Square @ the Loop. This LEED Certified mixed-use development includes 161 apartments in close proximity to the UC campus and urban Clifton area. It also includes 80,000 square feet of retail space, 40,000 square feet of University of Cincinnati office space, and parking for over 700 vehicles in two garages. An event lawn common space adds energy to the formerly vacant site.

KLH Engineers provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, technology, and lighting design services for 54,000 square feet of the warm dark shell of retail and restaurant space as well as all of the 161 unit apartments.
