Ryan Dobbins, DBIA, vice president of strategic growth, and Patrick Eldridge, AI architect and lead mechanical engineering associate at Kohrs Lonnemann Heil Engineers, Inc. (KLH Engineers), will present at the Lean Construction Institute (LCI) Ohio Valley Community of Practice (CoP) on “The Intelligence Revolution: AI Through the Lean Lens.” The event will take place on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at 3:30 p.m. EDT, followed by a networking happy hour at 5:00 p.m. at the Metropolitan Club in Covington, KY.

AI is transforming the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry, offering unprecedented opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize workflows. This session will explore how AI aligns with Lean Construction principles, driving innovation while maintaining a people-first approach. Attendees will learn how AI supports the six core LCI principles, from improving collaboration and eliminating waste to enhancing continuous improvement strategies.

The presentation will provide practical guidance on getting started with AI, including key considerations for implementation. Additionally, the session will highlight the critical role of structured organizational and project data in maximizing AI’s effectiveness. By the end of this session, participants will gain a clear understanding of AI’s potential impact and actionable steps to integrate AI-driven solutions into their lean design and construction practices.

The event is open to members for $35 and non-members for $45, with the opportunity to earn AIA continuing education credits.
