Immanuel Presbyterian Church

Immanuel Presbyterian Church sought to modernize and expand its main east lobby while improving first-floor restrooms and kitchen facilities to better support congregational life and weekday activities. The project required integrating new building systems into an existing worship facility while maintaining compatibility with the church’s infrastructure.

The renovation enlarged the lobby, reconfigured men’s and women’s restrooms, and expanded the first-floor kitchen. Mechanical improvements extended hydronic heating to the new lobby area and provided dedicated kitchen ventilation. Electrical upgrades introduced LED lighting replacements in existing spaces, new lighting for the lobby expansion, and additional power capacity for updated program needs. Plumbing systems were reworked to serve the renovated restrooms and kitchen.

KLH Engineers provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design services, including site verification, HVAC and ventilation design, plumbing reconfiguration, lighting and power upgrades, and construction administration, helping deliver a coordinated renovation aligned with the church’s functional goals.
