Norton Healthcare Goodwill Opportunity Campus

Goodwill Industries of Kentucky sought to relocate its headquarters and expand services in west Louisville to better support individuals facing barriers to employment such as limited education, disabilities, housing instability, and transportation challenges. Existing facilities did not provide adequate space to bring together the social, health, financial, and workforce services central to Goodwill’s mission.

The Goodwill Opportunity Campus was developed as a new headquarters and community resource center on a redeveloped brownfield site along West Broadway. The 125,000‑square‑foot campus includes administrative offices, a walk‑in resource center, career services, technology labs, classrooms, conference spaces, partner agency areas, and a community cafeteria.

KLH Engineers provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and technology engineering design, along with energy‑code commissioning services. Working closely with the design team, KLH delivered coordinated building systems designed to support energy efficiency, reliable operation, and the long‑term success of this community‑focused facility.
