Portland International Airport (PDX) Escape Lounge

Delivered as part of Portland International Airport’s broader modernization efforts, the award‑winning Escape Lounge at PDX sets a new standard for premium, common‑use passenger amenities and locally inspired hospitality. The 10,000‑square‑foot lounge, located in Concourse D, was thoughtfully designed to enhance the traveler experience through flexible seating, chef‑curated food and beverages, showers, and dedicated business and work areas—all within a welcoming environment that reflects Portland’s local character.

Recognized internationally, the PDX Escape Lounge was named the 2026 Priority Pass Global Lounge of the Year, reflecting consistently high traveler ratings for comfort, food and drink, service, ambiance and overall satisfaction.

KLH Engineers supported the successful delivery of this award-winning space by providing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, fire alarm, specialty lighting, communications and information technology design services, along with construction administration. This integrated engineering approach helped create an efficient, high-performing environment that supports guest comfort, premium amenities, food service operations and seamless connectivity throughout the lounge.
