St. Elizabeth Healthcare Richwood MOB

St. Elizabeth Physicians identified the need to expand outpatient healthcare services in Boone County to support continued population growth and increasing patient demand in the Richwood area. The organization sought to develop a new medical office building that could consolidate primary care, women’s health, urgent care, and specialty services while allowing flexibility for future expansion and evolving care models.

The 32,000‑square‑foot Richwood Medical Office Building was planned on a greenfield site along Richwood Road and includes space for multiple physician services as well as approximately 5,000 square feet of shell space for future tenant build‑out. The facility and its systems were designed to align with St. Elizabeth Physicians’ clinical standards while supporting efficient patient care and long‑term operational flexibility.

KLH Engineers provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and technology engineering services, including HVAC design, power distribution, lighting, domestic water and sanitary systems, natural gas distribution, fire protection criteria, and low‑voltage infrastructure. Working closely with the architect, civil engineer, and utility providers, KLH helped deliver coordinated building systems designed to support both current operations and future growth.
