Katie Lemler, PE

Director of Mechanical Engineering

As the director of mechanical engineering, Katie Lemler, PE, lead the firm’s mechanical engineering department, overseeing design innovation, staffing strategies and professional development initiatives.

Previously, she served as a senior mechanical engineer and project manager, and designed mechanical and plumbing systems, including HVAC design, energy calculations, run loads, equipment specifying, design of ductwork and diffusers, and HVAC controls.

She has played an active leadership role within KLH’s EMERGE employee resource group and the firm’s Leadership Development Program, supporting efforts to foster an inclusive culture and develop future leaders.

Katie is a member of American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and the American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE). She holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Purdue University.

Outside of work she enjoys board games, tabletop role playing games and card and video games. She likes reading non-fiction and sci-fi/fantasy. Katie also spends time volunteering with the Mid-Ohio Food Collective.
