Matthew Debevec, PE, LEED AP
A principal of the firm, Matthew Debevec serves as the Retail Market Practice Leader. He has designed HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems for retail, hospitality and commercial projects of all sizes and scope nationwide. The Retail Studio specializes in new store development and remodel programs, flagship projects, and helping retailers develop, implement and manage new standards and prototypes for specialty retail stores, grocery, department stores, restaurants, retail banks, retail centers, and mixed-use facilities.
Matthew, a professional engineer, has a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering technology from the University of Dayton and a master’s degree in organizational leadership and organizational change from Northern Kentucky University. He is involved with the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and Retail Design Institute (RDI).
Outside of work, Matthew enjoys watching his daughters play volleyball and soccer. He also enjoys playing soccer, running, painting and traveling with his family.
