Patrick Fernbach, PE, WELL AP
Patrick Fernbach, principal, progressive delivery market practice leader, has been instrumental in developing KLH’s teaming partnerships with contractors, supporting design-build delivery, design for manufacturing and installation, and supply chain integration.
Previously, he served as the director of mechanical engineering, where he oversaw the department’s use of innovative design solutions and workflows, staffing models and professional development plans for team members.
A frequent guest speaker on mechanical systems design and lean practices, he has presented for several industry organizations including American Institute of Architects (AIA) Cincinnati, the Lean Construction Institute (LCI) Ohio Valley Community of Practice, the Design-Build Institute of America Ohio Valley Region (DBIA OVR), and the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) Cincinnati and Dayton chapters.
Patrick is a member of the DBIA OVR board, the ASHRAE Cincinnati board, the LCI Ohio Valley core team, and the Spirit of Construction Emerging Leaders program, and volunteers with Design LAB. He holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Cincinnati.
Outside of work he enjoys home improvement projects and cooking/grilling for his family.
