The Kenwood Collection

At the height of the real estate market in 2007, construction began on The Kenwood Collection. But as the market fell out in 2008, so did the original plans for this mixed-use development. The project sat rusty and became an infamous icon along the I-71 corridor in Kenwood for six years. Eventually, it was resurrected and KLH joined the team that helped complete the building by 2017.

The 540,000-square-foot development includes a nine-story office tower served by a water-source heat pump system. KLH provided a unique lighting solution to uplight the underside of the roof canopy allowing the owner to adjust the color of the lighting. Below the office building is a retail center consisting of high-end retail, restaurants, a grocery store and dine-in movie theater. Along with the surface parking along the west, there are five levels of parking at retail grade and below the office building.
