Bob Heil Named to Northern Kentucky Business Hall of Fame Class of 2026
Kohrs Lonnemann Heil Engineers, Inc. (KLH Engineers) is proud to announce that Bob Heil, PE, executive director of strategic relationships and community engagement, has been named to the 2026 Northern Kentucky Business Hall of Fame.
Presented by NKY Magazine in partnership with the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, the Northern Kentucky Business Hall of Fame recognizes individuals who have made lasting contributions to the region through their impact on economic development, culture and civic life. Honorees will be recognized during the eighth annual induction ceremony Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Receptions in Erlanger, Kentucky.
Heil has been a driving force in Northern Kentucky for nearly four decades, serving on nearly 30 boards focused on education, mental health, economic development and business. He joined KLH Engineers in 1987 and has held several leadership roles, including president and chief executive officer, helping guide the firm’s growth and expand its regional impact.
Today, Heil manages strategic relationships and community engagement efforts for KLH, fostering connections among business, education and civic leadership throughout the region. He also serves as executive director of the LaunchNKY Center for Civic Leadership at NKU, where he works to develop and support the next generation of community leaders.
“I am deeply honored to be recognized alongside such an accomplished group of leaders who have shaped Northern Kentucky,” said Heil. “This region has given me tremendous opportunities throughout my career, and I am grateful to be part of a community that values collaboration, leadership and giving back.”
The 2026 class of inductees also includes Rich Boehne, retired chairman and CEO of The E.W. Scripps Company; Bob Hoffer, partner at DBL Law; and Gordon Martin, a posthumous honoree recognized for his contributions to real estate development and leadership in the homebuilding industry.
