Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) Escape Lounge

The existing passenger lounge at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) required a transformation to align with Escape Lounges’ premium hospitality experience while meeting the demands of a high-traffic, secure terminal environment. This called for a carefully coordinated design that balanced elevated aesthetics with high-performing building systems.

The solution focused on creating a modern, comfortable, and efficient space, incorporating HVAC enhancements for improved comfort and energy performance, upgraded electrical distribution and lighting systems, and expanded plumbing infrastructure to support food and beverage service. Security technology, including CCTV, was also integrated to meet airport standards.

KLH Engineers provided full mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design services, coordinating closely with the owner, architect, airport authority, and TSA to maintain operations and meet strict security requirements.
