KLH has been a trusted advisor among the FedEx distribution center methodologies including FedEx Ground, FedEx Freight and FedEx Express. Engineering services for the FedEx distribution brands have been provided for over 60 projects totaling over 5 million square feet. KLH has provided engineering consulting services to a variety of architects, subcontractors and general contractors over many years for FedEx.

The project shown is a FedEx Express located in Austin, Texas. KLH provided the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering design services. The 85,000-square-foot facility, which sits on 13 acres, consists of a warehouse area with sort distribution equipment, an office and ship center, and a vehicle maintenance area. The project was a build-to-suit development.
