Northern Kentucky University Griffin Hall

Griffin Hall, the home of the College of Informatics at Northern Kentucky University, is a unique and inviting state-of-the-art facility where a new generation of professionals will build our region’s information economy. The College of Informatics is a 112,000-gross-square-foot facility that includes classrooms, computer labs, a digitorium, television/media studios and control rooms, teaching labs, research/partnership space, a computer-assisted virtual environment (CAVE), offices and support space. The two-story digitorium is the physical and technological center of the space. In addition to designing the fire protection and plumbing services for the building, KLH engineers also provided communication and information technology services in order to create a living, breathing facility for the College of Informatics. The project achieved LEED Silver certification.
