10.26.21

The Community Action Agency – Cincinnati | Hamilton County (CAA), a private, nonprofit organization that offers various services to low-income individuals and families to help lift them out of poverty, recently announced Kohrs Lonnemann Heil Engineers, Inc. (KLH Engineers) as a 2021 Bridge Builder Award recipient. KLH Engineers will be honored at the virtual CAA 57th Annual Luncheon via YouTube and Facebook Live stream on Friday, Oct. 29, 2021.

The Bridge Builder award recognizes individuals or organizations who have partnered with CAA over the past year in the fulfillment of its mission to improve lives from cradle to career. During the pandemic, CAA quickly realized the need to improve its ability to hold virtual meetings when meeting clients remotely. KLH Engineers opted to help CAA with this project through its Keep Lending a Hand program, allowing CAA to increase its technological capabilities and continue to be a community leader.

Created in 2016, Keep Lending a Hand is KLH’s community service program dedicated to supporting its employees in their charitable work and improving the regions where its employees live, work and play. The mission of the program is to donate time, expertise and financial resources to qualifying community and charitable organizations who help people in need.
