KLH Engineers to Present at Advancing Prefabrication 2024
For the fourth consecutive year, Kohrs Lonnemann Heil Engineers, Inc. (KLH Engineers) will present at Advancing Prefabrication in two inspiring sessions. Held from Feb. 26-29, 2024, in Denver, Colorado, Advancing Prefabrication is North America’s premier networking and thought leadership conference dedicated to revolutionizing prefabrication, modular and industrialized manufacturing approaches across the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) supply chain.
Jim Tavernelli, PE, LEED AP, MBA, president and chief operations officer, will present “Safeguarding Your Profit Margin to Stay Competitive” on Monday, Feb. 26, at 1:00 p.m. MST. In this executive session, Tavernelli will explore operational strategies to implement innovation to achieve greater cost efficiencies. In addition, attendees will discover how executing sales strategies with specific focus creates competitive advantage, and how implementing a financial transparency model revolutionizes cultural engagement.
Chris Mehaffie, PE, MBA, SSGB, principal and civic studio director, will present a case study titled “Harnessing Data to Accelerate Project Delivery and Ensure the Highest Quality Outcomes with Prefabrication” on Wednesday, Feb. 28, at 2:45 p.m. MST. Mehaffie will discuss how to accelerate the accurate population of building information modeling (BIM) content by leveraging a common data environment. Attendees will also learn how KLH Engineers identified effective data specifications to fully leverage project auditing and harnessed insights to make meaningful improvements to construction and prefab.
