Mercy Health – Queen City Medical Center Emergency Department

KLH advised Mercy Health through the demolition of the existing Western Hills Hospital and helped develop plans to preserve a portion of the old building to serve as the new Queen City Medical Center Emergency Department. The remaining structure was renovated to include emergency medicine functions, equipment room and medical gas sourcing. As part of the demolition plans, KLH separated the utilities from the main plant. The newly renovated space now serves as a stand-alone emergency department.
