St. Elizabeth Orthopedic Surgical Expansion

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is expanding their orthopedic surgical capabilities and patient care with the new Orthopedic and Surgical Center on the Florence, Kentucky, campus.

KLH served as the MEP Engineer of Record for this 110,000-square-foot transformative project. The scope included a new endoscopy center, renovation of 10 existing operating rooms, five additional operating rooms, renovation of 24,000 square feet of inpatient space, a new atrium and waiting area, infrastructure upgrades, and a newly remodeled sterile processing department. These improvements will increase inpatient orthopedic surgery capacity and provide state-of-the-art patient facilities.

The project will be completed in multiple phases with portions of the existing facility remaining operational during construction.
